Mason Hayes & Curran Summer Internship 2026
· Applications open: Tuesday 9 September 2025
· Applications close: Wednesday 22 October 2025
Why choose MHC for graduate opportunities?
We are focused on finding exceptional trainees who will ultimately become the future lawyers and leaders of our firm.
We believe that the best way to learn is from real world experience. At MHC, you can start developing your career from day one. Our Summer Internship Programme provides you with the opportunity to experience our culture, interact with our lawyers and give you a taste of life as a trainee solicitor.
Who should apply?
We welcome applications for our Summer Internship Programme from anyone who has completed at least one year of an undergraduate or graduate degree in any discipline. Postgraduate students or those who have completed their studies are also welcome to apply, including those who have work experience and have already completed FE1s.
Application guidelines
Our application process is very straightforward; it is just a CV and a cover letter.
Your CV should be a maximum of two pages, and your cover letter should be a maximum of 500 words.
Your future with MHC
The three week paid internship is our sole means of recruiting future trainees, a method that we think benefits everyone, as the Summer Internship Programme gives you the opportunity to get to know us and us the opportunity to get to know you.
We have an excellent conversion rate from internship to traineeship, and we are proud to say we typically retain over 90% of our trainees as qualified solicitors once they complete their training contracts.
When could I start a traineeship with MHC?
We have spaces available on our 2028, 2029, and 2030 trainee programmes and beyond. Our 2026 and 2027 trainee intakes are currently at capacity.
