The Team

We are seeking a solicitor to join our highly regarded Charities and Not-for-Profit team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join Ireland’s leading and largest charities practice. We are open to candidates with 3+ years PQE.

The team is part of a larger Corporate Department and the role will best suit a solicitor with an interest in working in corporate governance, charities advisory and charitable mergers. Prior experience in charity law is not a requirement and experience in a corporate team will be favourably considered.


The MHC Charities and Not-for-Profit team is recognised as a leading adviser in Ireland on all types of governance, advisory and transactional matters for household name Irish charities, international charities and Ireland’s leading hospitals, universities and housing bodies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile, innovative and complex matters facing charities today.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ PQE in a related practice area.

  • A genuine interest in and empathy for the charity sector in Ireland.

  • Strong academic credentials.

  • Great motivation and work ethic.

  • The ability to build relationships and trust with clients.

  • The ability to manage both their own work and work as part of a close and excellent existing team.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
