We are currently seeking to recruit Senior associate for our Construction team. 

The Role

MHC’s Non-Contentious Construction practice is focused on the development of real estate in all major construction sectors, including residential, commercial, logistics, technology, healthcare, hotel & leisure, manufacturing and life sciences and for all types of blue-chip client, including investors, developers, contractors and international and domestic funders. We advise clients on all phases of project procurement, including contract structuring and the appointment of design teams and contractors.


Our development team is known for their exemplary work on the market leading transactions in terms of their high value and complexity. We offer the most comprehensive suite of legal services available to the Irish development market, advising on many of the largest development transactions undertaken in the State. We collaborate closely with colleagues in our real estate department on licences for work, leases and agreements for lease and on a diverse variety of transactions, including traditional acquisitions, development agreements, forward fund and forward purchase deals.


Candidate Requirements


  • Qualified Solicitor in Ireland or England and Wales;

  • 3-5 years PQE from a reputable firm with a focus on construction contracts / energy / projects;

  • Strong focus on client services and the ability to a manage multiple clients; and

  • Pro-active, working collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Excellent academics and superior oral and written communication skills
