Reception/Facilities

The role of the Receptionist in MHC is to support the MHC Reception supervisor and Director of Properties and his team across all the firms support services. The core function of the role is to support the reception services day to day operations. The role will entail some facilities duties during quiet period on the reception. The role will require also require candidates to be part of the office fire warden team and first aid response team

Shift Pattern


Days: Mon – Fri

Hours: 12:00 to 20:00


Duties and responsibilities

Reception duties

  • Booking client meeting rooms

  • Operate reception switchboard

  • Booking meeting rooms

  • Coordinate meeting room booking

  • Maintain a log clients arrival and departure log

  • Reception cover Breaks, holiday & tea breaks

  • Ordering taxis for clients and staff

  • Meeting room functional checks

  • Liaise with evening security & facilities team


Admin duties

  • Update relevant reception tracker (room utilization, taxi records, hospitality etc)

  • General reception admin duties as required

  • Support other aspects of the business with ad hoc admin task

 

Facilities support

  • Office workplace checks

  • Reports office faults to Facilities & IT

  • Coordination of new joiner desk allocation

  • Fire warden

  • First aider
