We are currently seeking to recruit a New Business Intake (NBI) Analyst. 


The Role

The NBI analyst will be part of our dedicated New Business Intake team. As part of the team, the analyst will assist in client onboarding to help ensure the Firm’s compliance with its regulatory obligations, to include its obligations under the applicable anti-money laundering laws, rules and regulations. The analyst will liaise with individuals across the firm to open new matters. This will involve conducting client risk assessments and carrying out the necessary AML due diligence. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the relevant AML information and documentation is gathered and assessed and that all new matters are opened in accordance with the Firm’s policies and procedures. The Analyst will also assist the team in dealing with various queries raised by members of the Firm in relation to the client onboarding process in general.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Opening new matters on the Firm’s practice management system and completing the new business intake process in accordance with the Firm’s policies and procedures;

  • Drafting appropriate engagement letters and liaising with the relevant solicitors in this regard;

  • Assisting the firm in the analysis and administrative tasks required to ensure compliance with our AML and other regulatory obligations, other policies and procedures.



The ideal candidate will have:

  • Law or related degree with 2.1 or better;

  • 1+ year KYC / relevant experience;

  • Ability to build relationships across the firm;

  • Attention to detail;

  • Proactive and tenacious approach to work;

  • Methodical and organised approach to work;

  • Experience opening new matters is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
