Role: Legal Secretary

We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Irish business-related law and with particular focus on the Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Charities sectors.


We are seeking an experienced legal secretary with strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail to support the Debt Recovery team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills as part of a collaborative team.


Candidate requirements

  • 1-3 years prior experience supporting a team of solicitors in a busy environment in a legal secretary role or similar;

  • Experience using iManage or another case management system;

  • Experience with client billing and file management;

  • Diary management and planning experience;

  • Strong technical skills; and

  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.

Responsibilities include

  • File management – importing instructions, opening files, issuing demand letters, and ensuring files are kept up to date;

  • Document production – drafting affidavits and correspondence as required;

  • Client billing – coordinating the team’s monthly billing process, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued in a timely manner;

  • Diary management - ensuring there are no diary conflicts and that schedules are planned appropriately;

  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, including arranging specialist appointments and gathering required materials;

  • Providing legal administrative support to the team.
