This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join an industry leading practice in a top tier firm with an enviable client base.


Candidates should have strong demonstrable experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters with approx 3-5 yrs PQE.


The work will involve advising clients across the public and private sectors on a whole host of employment issues across the spectrum.


Non-contentious work will include:


  • Advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures.
  • Advising clients on HR queries, particularly issues such as absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes; complaints of bullying and harassment, restructuring and redundancies, dismissals.
  • Assisting with corporate transactions.
  • Advising on TUPE.


Contentious work will include representing clients before the WRC and the civil courts.


The successful candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver client facing employment law workshops; and represent MHC at various industry and employment events and conferences.
