The Role


We are a dominant force in the Irish market, offering extensive local and international experience in complex construction projects. We have successfully represented clients in all forums of dispute resolution advising on complex legal issues.


Responsibilities of the role include:


  • working closely with clients to prepare and present technical and financial information in dispute resolution processes;

  • claim analysis;

  • drafting all or part of technical claim and defense documents.


Candidate Requirements:


  • experienced construction claims specialist to work with Tier 1 construction and energy disputes team;

  • construction industry experience and claims expertise

  • ability to produce high quality, detailed and accurate reports;

  • experience of large-scale adjudication, conciliation and/or arbitration;

  • demonstrable knowledge / track-record of delay, disruption and contractor cost claims;

  • 8 + years construction industry experience in Ireland / UK with focus on major contract claims;

  • possibly a QS or other industry qualification, role will suit a non-lawyer;

  • strong electronic data management skills; and

  • high degree of flexibility around remote working.
